Is Taylor Avenging Loss to Logsdon in 2018?
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, In 2018 Logsdon "scored an upset win over incumbent Steve Taylor, now County Supervisor for the 17th District. In a rematch of their April 2016 race." Logsdon gained nearly 53% of the vote. The major game changer in the race was the $129,069 that former County Executive Chris Abele's Leadership MKE spent in support of Logsdon.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, In 2021 the Milwaukee County Board voted 10-7 to redraw district boundaries. The new map carved out the 17th Supervisory District that Taylor ran for in April 2022, running unopposed.
According to Ballotpedia in 2020 Logsdon ran unopposed and in 2022 ran against Donald Schwartz. In the 2022 election, Logsdon won by securing 51.1% of the vote.
Taylor, along with Mike Zimmerman (ROC Ventures, CEO) were on the campaign team to elect John Nelson as Mayor of Franklin.
Sources indicate that Danelle Kenney was encouraged to run by Taylor and Zimmerman to avenge Taylors loss to Logsdon and elect a Rock friendly Supervisor for Milwaukee County's 9th District.
