Steve Taylor - "Lets Push Back Against the False Narratives" - Oops I Made the Paper AGAIN (3rd Time) for Not Disclosing!

Milwaukee County Supervisor, ROC Foundation Executive Director Steve Taylor, held a campaign fundraiser for his re-election campaign on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Araya's Bourbon Lounge.  According to the Facebook Event page, 3 individuals identified as going and 46 were interested.  Keep in mind Steve Taylor is running unopposed in April.

The caption for Taylor's event indicates "Campaign Fundraiser and Meet and Greet supporting Steve F. Taylor in his 2024 re-election. Let's push back against the false narratives and discuss the positives taking place in our communities. Working for the Greater Good!

A former friend of mine once had me believe that by joining forces we were working together for the "Greater Good". What I found out over some time is that the "Greater Good" was actually code for "What's best for my friend's personal agenda", which is truly not the greater good of all.

It's hard to push back against FALSE NARRATIVES when they are all true and reported by the local press. There are no "False Narratives" to push back from, it is Taylors' current reality.

In yet another article exposing Taylor and his colleague Supervisor Kathleen Vincent, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this past Saturday published an article that accuses Taylor, Vincent, and County Board Chair Nicholson for not disclosing gifts on their annual statement of economic disclosure.  Specifically, Nicolson and Vincent are questioned for expenses made at the expense of County Taxpayers.  Nicholson specifically Rollerblades and a membership to the Milwaukee Athletic Club.  Vincent for expenses over $700 on clothing.

“An ethics complaint against Nicholson — along with Supervisors Steve F. Taylor and Kathleen Vincent — was filed with the Milwaukee County Ethics Board earlier this year alleging that Nicholson, Taylor, and Vincent had failed to disclose gifts on their statements of economic interests.” According to the article, Taylor and Vincent were "surprised" to learn that a 9-page ethics complaint was submitted to the Milwaukee County Ethics Board and they are named in it.

Pictured below is County Supervisor Steve Taylor with his colleague County Board Chair Marciella Nicholson.

Taylor is known to be a supporter of the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce and a frequent participant at events. It appears that Taylor also had his hand in the upcoming Women in Business Event sponsored by the South Suburban Chamber on March 27, 2024. One of the guest speakers is Milwaukee County Board Chairperson Marciela Nicholson. I wonder what she will speak about?

Taylor has been the subject of two other Milwaukee Journal Sentinel articles for not fully disclosing information on his statement of economic interest.

Taylor Corrected his required Statement of Economic Interest required of all Milwaukee County Supervisors and was quoted as saying "I don't like making mistakes nor do I like making the same mistake twice.  Moving forward I guarantee that my SEI will be filled out correctly."

Unlike the previous Taylor fundraiser, there were no pictures with "supporters" as there were none at the previous event, no residents just political pals from Franklin and supporters from Milwaukee County Government and a representative from the local chamber of commerce. NO ONE from the City of Oak Creek.  The City of Oak Creek is in the Taylor Supervisory District.  None of the current candidates want to have their picture with him and be associated for fear he will hurt their campaign

These are the pictures that were posted at the March 21st event.  Beautiful pictures of Araya's but not a single picture of an attendee.  Maybe no one showed up?  Would not look good for PR to only have 3 people in the picture or maybe no one wanted to be in the picture?

The following picture is of Taylors' previous fundraiser with his political pals and Georgia Konstanktakis who is running for Franklin Municipal judge appears to be a big pal of Taylor.

Then there is Danelle Kenney who is running for County Supervisor against Patti Logsdon.  Multiple sources have indicated that Kenney has told Taylor to stay away and not to be seen with her even thou he and John Nelson had encouraged her to run against Logsdon.  Kelly Hersh, Franklin's Director of Administration, and Kenney sued Franklin to prevent Strauss from entering the City.  Hersh received a job as Director of Administration for helping to get Nelson elected Mayor and now Kinney wants to be rewarded by being elected County Supervisor after ensnaring the city in a legal battle.

The picture below shows Kinney along with Hersh and Michele Eichmann, another Taylor supporter.  This picture was taken of the three of them chumming together at the South Suburban Chamber Awards Gala.

Editorial

If you support the behavior and tactics of Steve Taylor, corruption in government, then understand that by voting for Kinney or
Konstanktakis you are supporting the continuation of a Franklin Government bought and paid for by Nelson, Taylor, and Zimmerman.

Do NOT VOTE for Kenney or Konstanktakis in Aprils election if you are concerned about the Greater Good of your Community!
